Antwerp is less than 50 kilometres (about 30 miles) from the Brussels airport. The conference will be held at the 'city campus', located within walking distance (at most 15 minutes) of the main Antwerp train station ('Antwerpen Centraal'), from which it is easy to connect to London, Paris, Amsterdam, ... The Brussels airport has a train station from which Antwerp Central Station can be reached in less than an hour. Info about train schedules in Belgium can be found at www.nmbs.be.
From Amsterdam it will take you about an hour longer, but you can do it by direct train connection as well (for the Dutch trains, see www.ns.nl).
There's a small Antwerp airport, too, but it is ... small.
The venue of the conference is both within walking distance from the Central Station, as well as from the Cathedral/Main Square.
