A

Arrival to Brussels: Check the travel & accomodation pages. Accomodations: Hotels and dorms have been reserved at preferential rates. Check the travel & accomodation pages for more information. Acceptance of submitted proposals: You will be notified on March 15th, 2000. ASSC: The Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness.

B	Brussels: Check the travel & accomodation pages for more details about the city. Buses will be available free of charge to move you from your hotel to the meeting.

C

Committees: Lots of people are involved on various committees associated with the conference. Consciousness: According to some, the last remaining scientific mystery. What ASSC4 is all about. Credit cards will be accepted for registration by mail, email, faxes, or on site. Computers will be available for internet access on site. Currency: The Belgian Franc (BEF). You need 40.339 BEF to make one EURO, or about 43 to make one US Dollar. Will be replaced by the EURO in 2002: Keep the bills as future souvenirs of a foregone era.

D	Deadlines: To submit papers and poster proposals: February 15th, 2000. To submit workshop proposals: January 15th, 2000. To benefit from early registration: April 30th, 2000.

E	EURO2000: A major soccer competition. Takes place in Belgium and in the Netherlands at the same time as ASSC4. If you intend to book your hotel rooms by yourself, do so very early!

F	A Fax will be available during the meeting. To fax something to the registration desk during the meeting, use this number: +32 2 650 32 56. Fees: Check out the conference registration fees.

I	Internet access will be possible on site. iMacs: The computers we will use to make it possible for you to access the internet on site.

Secretariat: A conference secretariat service will be available during the meeting, with a fax machine, telephone lines, and a copier. Where: The conference will take place on the Solbosch campus of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. When: ASSC4 takes places between June 29th and July 2nd, 2000. What: ASSC4's main theme is "The Unity of Consciousness: Binding, Integration, and Dissociation. Workshops: A full day of workshops dedicated to various relevant themes will take place on June 29th, 2000.
